IDW Editions started with a simple love for watches. Over 15 years ago, Morris Weiss and Ben Bookman launched The Watch Exchange, an online platform where people could buy and sell pre-owned Swiss watches from brands like Rolex, Omega, and Breitling. The site quickly grew, handling thousands of sales across the globe and building a loyal community of collectors and enthusiasts.

After a while, we decided to create something of our own, a brand called IDW - International Designer Watch - to bring high-quality, Swiss-style watches to market at prices people could actually afford. After months of painstaking searching and testing, we found the right producers and craftsmen. We sourced the finest materials and components at the best prices we could, and every watch was assembled by experts who take real pride in their craft. The results even surprised us. The accuracy, the finish, the feel — these watches held their own against some of the biggest names in the business.

As word spread and people saw what we were building, more and more asked: could we help them create something similar? A watch that wasn’t just well made, but also personal — something that told their story. Whether it’s a company, foundation, team, or private event, not everyone wants to start building a watch from scratch — but many  want a watch to gift clients or team members, a watch that reflects who they are.
